Troop 159 is sponsored by Saint Raphael Parish in Bay Village Ohio. We have weekly meetings which are held at the Church in the Lunch Room (old gym) where we incorporate themes around merit badges and other scout related activities. We have monthly weekend campouts during the school year at a wide variety of campsites. Every summer we spend a week at Beaumont Scout Reservation in Ashtabula, Ohio. In our troop, it's the scouts who decide what activities they want to do in the upcoming year. Here's a few things our troop has done in the past few years:  Hiked in the mountains of Pennsylvania -Climbed in the Red River Gorge/Kentucky -Backpacked along the Appalachian Trail -Canoeing from Tinnerman Base Camp/Canada -Sailing from Fort Lauderdale to the Bahamas -Whitewater rafting on the Lower Yough River -Skied the Mountains of New York -Cycled along the C&O trail to Washington DC -Visited Mammoth Cave and Fort Knox -Camped and toured Niagara Falls, Canada Plus much more!!
